HTC have given short shrift to rumours circulating following a supposed image of the HTC Rezound, confirming the device and even providing us with a specific release date. Unveiled by Jimmy Lovine at HTC’s beats audio product launch, the device is one of the few on the market to provide high-quality music playback; a feature HTC are heavily reliant upon.

Boasting HTC’s first 720p display, the device features a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 32GB of storage, 1GB of RAM and will come pre-loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, whilst an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich is expected sometime in 2012.

Still boasting all the power and features of any other HTC Smartphone, the device is clearly geared towards anyone who wants to get the most from their media and provides yet another excellent option for what is becoming a heavily saturated market.

Sold by Verizon and Best Buy, the HTC Rezound is due for release on November 14th at a cost of $299.

So, can HTC’s latest offering make an impact? Does it even stand a chance against the expectation and hype surrounding the Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich? As always, we eagerly await your opinions.
